Summer workshopsRegistration has begun for the 2012 Summer Workshops!

We will be offering a series of workshops again this summer. We will be teaching the following classes:

  • Creative Drama
  • Musical Theater
  • Dance Technique
  • Advanced Acting
  • Vocal Workshop

All workshops are held in the Lion's Club building located at 600 E. Center Street in Pleasant Grove.

Class Descriptions

Creative Drama - Mini Production: Develop your imagination and unlock your creativity! During this fun-filled workshop, we'll put on a short play geared for your age group.. (Special note: This is an acting class and does not include any singing or dancing.)
For youth ages 5-7 and 8-11.

Advanced Acting Workshop - Short Play:
If you have had previous theater experience, check out our advanced acting workshop. All participants will be cast in a short play to be presented the last day of class. Time will be required outside of class to memorize.
For youth ages 12-18.

Musical Dance Theater - Mini Musical: Build a foundation for performing musical theater: singing, dancing, and acting. This year we will be putting on a mini-musical to train you in singing, choreography, character development, stage presence and more!
For youth ages 8-11, and 12-18.

Broadway Bound - Summer Stock : Broadway Bound, our youngest group of performers, now has a 3-week summer program. Come shine this summer in our mini-musical. Learn to sing, dance, and act.
For youth ages 5-7.

Dance Technique: This camp focuses on becoming a better trained, focused and technical dancer. Become better prepared for our musical theater workshops, regardless of your current abilities.
For youth ages 8-11, 12-18.

Vocal Workshop: Study voice in a friendly group setting. These sessions deal with basic vocal techniques, including good breathing habits, posture, diction, phrasing, and interpretation of song literature.
For youth ages 5-7, 8-11, 12-18.
